Danica Patrick's day doomed by shoe thrown on track

Danica just can't catch a break this season.

Crashes and incidents like the one on Saturday have been the story of her season. Through 22 races she has failed to finish six times and is 11th in the points standings.

Woman sues because Parkay has fat in it

A Nebraska woman has filed a false advertising lawsuit against ConAgra Foods, accusing the packaged food company of intentionally misrepresenting its Parkay Spray butter substitute as fat-free and calorie-free.

I enjoy this same product, but I already figured out that it is low calorie because you use such a small amount on your toast, veggies, etc. That's why it's a spray! This woman was pouring the whole bottle on her food. I guess you can label it but can't make people actually read the label...

The Scrabble world is abuzz.

Apparently, a $10,000 top prize led to bad behavior at the national Scrabble tournament.

  • John D. Williams, Jr., executive director of the National Scrabble Association, said that a male player was ejected from the 350-player event [for cheating] in Round 24 of the 28-round event.
  • According to Williams, "It gets pretty deep. We're one step away from drug testing...But no steroids so far..."

My friend and I were just discussing a new vodka marketed by Smirnoff: fluffed marshmallow. Disgusting! Remember when the less taste vodka had, the better?
